Vincent-Young Back Out on the Grass
Tuesday, 18th Feb 2020 19:00

Kane Vincent-Young was back training on the Playford Road turf earlier today as he continues his rehabilitation following the second of two groin operations.

Vincent-Young, 23, made a hugely impressive start to his Blues career having signed for £500,000 from Colchester in August.

But he was forced to go under the knife to repair a hernia in October, then needed adductor tendon surgery the following month.

Speaking last week, manager Paul Lambert said he was looking forward to the right-back’s return.

“Maybe the end of the month for him,” he said. “He was great when he was playing and obviously he had the injury and it gave us a blow on that side but predominantly he’s been great, so him coming back is going to be a major plus for us.”

Blues 1 That's why Kevin Beattie had such a short career he always came back too early. He had pain killing injections in his knee which eventually finished his career.

Not sure he's a class above anyone else at the club.
He's played 9 league games so far, so has a way to go yet.
Showed massive promise in the 9 games.

Where as Flynn Downes is a class above anyone else at the club. Has worn the arm band.
Played close on 30 league games this season, mom in most of them.
40 previous games played in the Championship. Current England U20 international. Will make the move to U21 with ease.
Is looking better every game played....and worth a minimum of £10m now. Woolf coming a close 2nd.
Just hope we take what they're worth come the summer and not a penny less.

Soon as he's back out there and fit and raring to go the better for the club...need a boost like him returning.
