The TWTD League Calculator 2019/20
Tuesday, 25th Feb 2020 17:43

Eleven games of Town’s 2019/20 League One campaign remain with the Blues eighth in the table, so give the TWTD League Calculator a go to assess how the final few weeks of the season might pan out.

The League Calculator allows you to input your predicted results for all the fixtures likely to affect a club's league position and then outputs a final table.

To give it a go, click here. The League Calculator will remain available via the Interactive menu above throughout the remainder of the season.

Post your final table in the comments section below or on the forum for discussion and assessment.

I suggest no one does this because you will all get it wrong unless you all realise how bad we are and are a realist in predicting our results. We will be lucky to finish in the top 10.

come on - we've only played 3/4 of the season. alright it hasn't been the best but there's still hope! we were great at the beginning of the season. we've been pretty good in patches of late just not consistent. the others have all been going well, good runs don't last forever tho. they'll slip up, we put a few wins together (for once) and we're back in the mix! come on town, and come on town fans!

Top 10 is about all we can hope for unless someone starts scoring goals , we find a midfield with some guts and our third rate defenders stop making errors that would embarrass a 10 year old. Also we need a manger with at least a thimble full of tactical nous who can get morons like chambo to realise that pumping high balls in up the park when the players on other team are 2 foot taller than your own just will not work.

@ adeblueboy.

Of course we'll all get it wrong, it's just a bit of fun!
I haven't won a bean this entire season from my predictions, so don't trust my attempt! :-)

I can't believe it's got to a point where we're late in the season & talking about calculations for if it's realistically possible to even reach the playoffs, nevermind automatic promotion in Division 1. All that optimism of instant return to the championship & talk about lessons learnt, making us all stronger, has turned into dust.
Not sure if it's fairy dust or ashes, but any dreams I had of a convincing quick return are all but gone & can't be bothered to even see if we can do it anymore. We don't deserve it, the team & management do though and yet they get rewarded for failure with fat pay cheques at our expense. What do we get?

We are now seeing the results of wanting "pretty " football rather than results. To me it would have been preferable to be a mid table championship side playing moderate football than being in the current situation where we are going to be struggling to keep our youngsters and even surviving in this league. With our current form and lack of strikers it is difficult to see us obtaining many more points to stay in the current position let alone look forward to promotion!

Dear oh dear. I have us 7th, a point behind Peterborough and Oxford. Looking at final games for those two which are nailed on wins, I say if we are to make any offs we must be in top 6 after Easter game at Shrewsbury. How on earth have even us managed to mess this up so spectacularly?

Based on current form, I've got us to finish on 65 points, which would put us anywhere between 8th and 12th in previous seasons. You usually need low 70s to make the play-offs, so unless our form improves considerably, it doesn't look good.
