"Ipswich won the final 5—4 on aggregate to win their first and, as of 2020, only European trophy." Written by an optimist!

Who are the only club ever to have beaten ITFC at home in a European Club competition?

Well if I'm not mistaken, it is literally impossible to lift the trophy again before 2024 even if we win every game between now and then, right? Unless you can get in it by winning the FA Cup even as a League One team?

These are the real questions.

Correct MattinLondon - January 1996. It was an official European tournament. Port Vale got to the final that year and lost to Genoa.
