The South West Branch of the Supporters Club has called for manager Paul Lambert to be replaced.

In a statement the group, which was formed in 2013 and is made up of a large group of Town-supporting exiles based from Swindon down to Cornwall, says that with a “heavy heart” they are calling for a change and urging owner Marcus Evans to “act now so that a new manager has time to impose a playing style consistent with a realistic promotion bid”.

The statement follows a critical press release from ITFC Supporters Club committee and independent supporters group Blue Action also calling to make a change.

TonyMowbray added 18:53 - Jan 11 Eddie Howe??? No chance. His next job will be in either the Prem, or a big championship side with cash to spend. The Cowley's on the other hand, makes sense. Experienced in the lower leagues, looking for work at the right club and most importantly (for them), fairly local. Won't happen though because Lambert is going nowhere and by the time he does, the Cowley's will be employed again.

BrandonsBlues added 20:47 - Jan 11 I never liked MM or any manager playing 1 up front and I don't like it with PL. Injuries may be a factor but square pegs in round holes will never work. Playing to your players strengths is the only way. We seem so entrenched on one system at the expense of individuality or what is best for the team. The players look dejected and fed up as much as the fans do with the whole situation. If PL wont change, change PL.

Razor added 10:34 - Jan 13 EDDIE HOWE NOW!! This would be the perefect job for him----massive challenge but superb infrastructure with a superb fan base who will support his style of football. He would change this club overnight just with his presence.
