Shouldn't agents fees be paid for by the players who employ them, not the clubs?

It does seem as a football club we get shafted constantly. I remember a few years back when in the championship, we had one of the highest wage bills in the league. For a mid to lower and eventually relegated team that's obscene. Considering that we barely spend on transfer fees and rely on frees majority of the time.

We should be able to save an absolute fortune this summer with only one or two contract renewals of the 20+ out of contract !!!

If a player wants an agent fine but they should be responsible for the fee. The Prem clubs wont stand up to the agents who are taking money out of the game. I'd like to see clubs stand up to the agents and say no to their fees.
I imagine that a sale would include the agents fee then but if the player is unhappy then at least he can change his agent or whatever but if the club has been sold a bad deal then they can do nothing .
