Judge in Teams of the Week
Monday, 5th Apr 2021 10:14

Blues midfielder Alan Judge has been named in the Sky Bet League One and EFL Teams of the Week following the 2-1 Good Friday victory over Bristol Rovers at Portman Road.

Judge scored Town’s second goal against the Pirates, the Irishman’s fourth of the season.

The 32-year-old was previously in the Team of the Week for his performance in the 2-0 win against Blackpool at Portman Road in February.

Well that makes it painfully obvious the people who make these decisions just glance at the scoreline.

Well done Alan, it's great to see one of our players getting some recognition!

Think the ref incident got him to concentrate on his game and not the distractions of it.

Pleased for Judgey during what must have been a very difficult time for him. Even at thirty two years old still our best midfield player goals and creativity and more importantly workrate a definite yes for next season.

Well done Judgey. No one came out of the game smelling entirely of roses but personally I thought he was one of the better players from the Bristol Rovers game. Never stopped running, scored a goal and at least gave his all (take note Kayden Jackson).

I'm not one of the blue-tinted spectacles brigade that thinks everything is right with the club and we should always get behind the players comewhatmay blah blah, but for heavens sake can't we at least applaud one of our own for an achievement however big or small?? Can't always slag off our players just for the sake of it.

Just count how many times attacks break down because he cannot make a simple pass.

"Even at thirty two years old still our best midfield player goals and creativity" - lol. At 11%, his goals-per-chance conversion rate is among the lowest in the squad (according to BBC stats). He's started nearly every match in attacking midfield this season, yet only has three assists. Fans have their favourite scapegoats in the club's downfall, but Judge has been a regular starter throughout.

I suppose if you compare him to Andre Dozzell (grow your own) who creates nothing scores nothing, and work rate nil a complete wimp ,he's not very good.

By far our most productive midfield player but still below par.
