Gills Linked With Judge
Wednesday, 19th May 2021 09:38

Gillingham are reported to have joined Colchester United in showing interest in released Blues midfielder Alan Judge.

The 32-year-old left Portman Road last month having made 29 League One starts with a 30th set to trigger another year on his deal, something manager Paul Cook was unwilling to do.

Colchester are understood to be keen on the former Republic of Ireland international and now, according to the EADT, the Gills are also keen on the former Brentford man.

I'll try not to judge Gillingham on that one.

I'm surprised that Evans wants him. I thought all his players were better than ours!

If you don't care about former players that's a strange mindset. Unless they left in a bad manner I always keep on eye on ex players. I think he's good enough to play in the championship still in the right team. Decent guy as well which counts.

Best of luck to Alan.
I think most people with sense can appreciate that there was not many putting in the same amount of effort as that man this year.

Isn't there an old saying, something like “if you can't say anything good, don't say anything”?
Give the guy a break.......please!

Personally I'm glad his got interest as he was a good player who worked hard for the club showed passion which some didn't. Even losing family member he wanted to carry on but was advise to take a break that shows something about his character. Good luck Alan I'm sure you'll do well wherever that maybe

With the right players around him and played in the right position, I think he still has plenty to offer. We never got the best out of him. Best of luck Alan.

I think the only reason he was released was probably his age. You've only got to look at his goals which were mostly quality and he also created his fare share. Hope he does well wherever he goes a decent human being.

While he never seemed to quite recapture the pizzaz he had before the bad injury I think that he tried hard and would have been seen to greater effect in a stronger team with better players around him. I hope that things work out well for him with his next move.
