Fans' Forum Streamed Live This Evening
Thursday, 29th Jul 2021 17:58

This evening’s fans’ forum event where manager Paul Cook, CEO Mark Ashton and chairman Mike O’Leary will answer questions from fans is being streamed live by the club on its YouTube channel from 6.30pm.

More than 100 invited supporters will be at the hour-long event in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite with matchday PA announcer Stephen Foster hosting.

“We will be holding fans’ forums regularly through the season,” Ashton told the club site. “We want that interaction with our supporters.

“We want their feedback. You will see our players and staff out in the community, supporting the work of the club and local charities.

“Our investors are very big on that. Ipswich Town will be a club of the local people; you can be rest assured of that.”

Excellent evening of questioning and answering from both sides. 3 gents on top table came across as positive, full of passion for the club and their beliefs of where we are going, going forwards. I thank them all for arranging the evening and would have loved to attended if invited. Thanks for providing the live stream and I for one can't wait to take my season ticket seat for the 1st game of the league season.

Just think when the big screens are put in you'll enjoy the goals scored again on the replays. COYB's.

having seen a few of these over time, it struck me how they all wanted to be there for a start & how engaging, informative, clear, concise & consistent ( not repetative) they have been to date at the club trying relentlessly to put in place all that has been missing here for so long. They impressed me with how they conducted themselves, how they treat the fans, community & club etc. Getting the playing side sorted as well as aspects of running the club 24/7. Yes it's a business but more emphasis has been put on being a football not just a business. Giving the team time due to the influx of players & giving off field staff the time and energy to get background work done that you don't see. I think it's safe to say our club is in good hands.

No one now can be in any doubt that our new owners are serious and we will be a great club again.
We are so lucky to have them on board. They are like a breath of fresh air. They have given us some fantastic players, got rid of some dross and now we only have to look upwards and not downwards. I have followed the town since 1959 and I have to say this is most exciting time to be a town fan since Alf and Bobby's days. We must show our gratitude and support to our new owners in the only way we know how. Fill the stadium and sing our hearts out and make every other team as jealous as possible.COYB

Fantastic. No questions ducked. Such passion and enthusiasm from all 3 in every answer. No "soundbites" of fluff trying to keep fans happy. Exciting times!

Thoroughly enjoyed that. If all the good talk, enthusiasm and commitment translates to the pitch, then the only way is up. It feels a world away from the ITFC of Marcus Evans.

All so very different and plenty of realism. I hope we can all be patient and these decent people are around for a while

10 out of 10 so far for the new management set-up. Be good to see how this stellar performance by the management team transmits to results on the pitch. The most interesting and exciting season ahead for decades, methinks…
