Town and Oldham Ball 26 in FA Cup Draw

Town and Oldham will be ball number 26 in this evening’s draw for the second round of the FA Cup.

The Blues and Latics will meet in a replay at Boundary Park on a date yet to be confirmed, but probably Tuesday of next week, after drawing 1-1 at Portman Road on Saturday.

The draw will take place on ITV4 following the Dagenham & Redbridge-Salford City tie.

Second round ties will take place over the first weekend in December.

Ok, we know if we turn up at Oldham we can still beat them, and the same goes for anyone we meet in the second round. So why not go for it and give ourselves a chance of a decent Cup run, or at least go out in a blaze of glory in a plum tie against Man C, Liverpool or Chelsea? What fan doesn't want that? I don't believe in this 'not bother with the Cup in order to concentrate on the League' nonsense. Hasn't worked in the last ten plus years, why would it work now?
