Two Internationals Lose Saturday, 12th Oct 2002 23:44 Hermann Hreidarsson and Amir Karic were both on the losing side in European Championship qualifiers on Saturday. Hreidarsson, returning from a back injury, played the full 90 minutes as his Iceland side lost 2-0 to Scotland in Reykjavik. Karic was replaced in the 89th minute as Slovenia were thrashed 5-0 by a resurgent French side at the Stade de France. Town's misfit Slovenian may be interested to discover the future of Town's management after being frozen out of the first team picture at Portman Road for two years under George Burley. Hreidarsson's Iceland play Lithuania on Wednesday night while Matt Holland will join the Ireland squad on Sunday ahead of the game against Switzerland, also on Wednesday.
