Miller Wants More Games
Miller Wants More Games

Town midfielder Tommy Miller says he is frustrated at his lack of first team football since moving to the club in the summer of 2001. Miller is likely to be involved as Town take on Liverpool on Wednesday in the Worthington Cup.

Miller hopes that he can force his way into Joe Royle's regular line-up: "I seem to come in for the odd game and then out I go. It's not something I'm happy about and hopefully it will be in my own hands to sort it out."

On Wednesday Liverpool will be without Emile Heskey and Bruno Cheyrou while Chris Kirkland has been announced as a starter ahead of Jerzy Dudek. Patrik Berger is also out after again injuring his knee.

The Reds are likely to name a number of fringe players and rested Michael Owen, Dietmar Hamann, Jamie Carragher and Danny Murphy in the previous round. Igor Biscan, Gregory Vignal, El Hadji Diouf and Jon Otsemobor were in the side which faced Southampton.
