Town manager Joe Royle has told Justin Miller that he will not be kept on when his current deal is up at the end of the season. Miller was hoping to win a new contract after an impressive spell on loan at Leyton Orient before Christmas.

The Town boss told the club site: "At 22, Justin needs regular football and he proved at Orient that he is good enough to do that.

"Unfortunately for the boy, there are a number of players in front of him at this club and I have to be fair to him about the situation.

"Justin is well liked here, a lovely lad and we wish him all the best for the rest of his career."

Orient were keen to sign him permanently after the loan period was up, however at the time the player and Town were unwilling to let the South African go. It seems likely that they will be the front-runners for his signature.
