Yallop Looks to Forrest?
Yallop Looks to Forrest?

Reports in the United States claim that San Jose Earthquakes manager Frank Yallop could be looking to sign his former Town team-mate Craig Forrest.

The former West Ham keeper retired from the game last season after recovering from cancer and returned to his native Canada. He is currently working for Rogers Sportsnet, a TV company for whom he covers Premiership football.

Yallop has been eyeing up a number of keepers of late, and is reported to have made contact with the TV company enquiring about Forrest's availability.

With the new season only weeks away the Quakes have only one keeper and have had an attempt to sign the Rochester Rhinos' custodian Pat Onstad blocked.
