Bowditch on Standby Wednesday, 26th Feb 2003 08:00 Young Town striker Dean Bowditch is on standby for the senior squad ahead of Sunday's derby clash at Carrow Road. Bowditch, 16, who scored the reserves consolation goal against Derby County last night, is in contention as the Blues have a number of striking casualties. Alun Armstrong has a suspected broken wrist after what appeared to be a collision with a post during the 3-1 defeat to the Derby County second string. Richard Naylor missed out on the visit of Derby due to illness while Marcus Bent pulled up with a hamstring strain in training. Pablo Couñago is suspended for another three games after his red card against Sheffield United. That leaves Darren Bent as the only senior striker currently fit and available, leaving Joe Royle with a further headache ahead of Sunday's vital clash.
