A solid professional performance against a decent team who came here to play. And that's the difference.
Kipre solid as a rock today. What a unit he is.

Walton pulled of a few incredable saves to save the zero for us. MoM for me was Nunez who ran his socks off and portrayed the willing Blues to a tee. magnificent team effort but its only three points, no more no less, and we rue the presents we made to lesser lights during the last week. Please note Blackburn was rained off and abandoned AGAIN! A little bit more adventurous in front of goal was rewarded with three shots going in from ten shots.

Much better. Good to see how team performs against top side. Maybe this the turning point!
Would consider Egile as a natural no. 10 his wing play isn’t great as crosses aren’t good enough but he shows good instinct in penalty area.
I’ve not been happy with Matusiwa but he did well with better forward play. Maybe he’s getting up to speed!
Hirst needs better support which was evident from his goal like many from two seasons ago.

Walton is a good keeper because he makes few mistakes all keepers make great saves but the better ones don't make hardly any foepars. Palmer is a good keeper but he wouldn't have got any where near the first great save of Walton's onto the post. The result was achieved by hard work getting players behind the ball when ever Coventry had possession and no one worked harder than Nunez.

For me Kipre was MOM, he had simms in his pocket - won the physical battle, every header and played the ball forward accurately, OK he did an air shot seconds before Walle Egeli scored - but that worked out well in the end!!
