Do we need both Jaden and Jack , they are both very lightweight for Premiership football. We could cash in on one and get someone in more robust for that left hand side,with the one that stays being the back up. I’d be thinking about it if I was Gary. If we can get 40-45 million I’d let him go.

If we can get 30m+ for him I would take it. Decent at champ level but i think he lacks pace and wont get the space to unleash worldies like he did in the Champ. That along with the prem money and Muric money should give us a pretty hefty warchest.

All our squad played a part last season but we weren't dominant and we know how big the jump is. No Premier League interest in any of our current players last summer and thats because most are top quality championship players and a few aren't even that. We need more £30m players than we can afford in one season so a few like Pope, maybe Trippier, etc of the moneyball type signings will need to be blended in this season and we have to accept that. Also even great signings on paper don't always work out like Isak at Liverpool so its one hell of a challenge. Burns must go. Sell McAteer and Ogbene at a loss. Sell Greaves and O'hea for small profit or break even. Take every offer that turns a profit and go back to the clear out method we have seen work at Portman Road before. Not because the current players are bad men but because the pragmatic answer is that the current squad is not fit for purpose and that applues to every single ine of them. Last season there was no cohesion, no on pitch leadership, no flow and we relied mostly on flashes on individual skill rather than patterns of play or any obvious team work. There is no argument for keeping this squad together. Lets aim better than Hackney and better than Azeez. Lets trade those with multiple relegations on their CVs and lets sign 2 goid number 9s and hope for some luck but also lets demand Ashton starts bringing in plsyers with Premier league physicality as he promised over 12 months ago

I think somewhere like Italy or Spain would suit JP better as a player. He's a bit on the lightweight side for the PL ( I mean that with the greatest respect ). Less rough and tumble and more chance for his abilities to shine. Alternatively of course, he could stay here and prove me wrong!

Their record signing is 15m euro. He cost £20m and wouldn't sell him for less than £30m. So 35m euros. That would be the 10th highest fee in Italian football in the last 5 years. Let's put this down as not happening.

Agree with Grange. We paid £20m for Jaden. Based on what we’ve seen so far i doubt we’d make any profit at all if we sold him and definitely not if sold to a Euro team as they have less cash to splash. So I believe he’ll stay with us this season unless he does an Omari ……..

Although he is capable of moments of brilliance, I agree with those saying that he's too lightweight for the Premier League, as he can be blown over by a gust of wind. He is also mostly anonymous away from Portman Rd. If we can sell at a profit I would take the money to strengthen the squad. Jack Clarke is a bit more robust and streetwise in my opinion and has the potential to prosper in the Premier League. Whether that's as a starter or super sub, like last season, remains to be seen

Personally I wouldn’t want him to go he is one of few players that can score from absolutely nothing and anywhere exactly what we will need in the premier league. Those saying they don’t think he can do it in the prem we don’t know yet. Villa pissed him about start of 24-25 season he comes to us in Jan into a struggling side full of league one players gets two decent goals at old Trafford not long after gets an injury then comes back into a side who’s pretty much nailed on for relegation and getting battered. The one thing he didn’t do then but did improve on last season is the dirty work of covering the full back and tracking back which we will need next year. Looked class when fit this past season.

Before we offload players we need to spend probably £220M on some exceptional additions. Over to the new manager to attract those excellent players. Sunderland and Leeds managed it. No excuses.

For those saying he is a too lightweight for the premier league, well he is about the same size and weight as Summerville,who is currently tearing it up in the World Cup.
And will undoubtedly leave West Ham,for another top flight side,this summer.

Obviously a lot of depends on the manager and what he fancies in his players. I suspect that the board will support with signings as much as they are able. However, there is also the aspect of whether players want to stay after Kieran’s departure. Much has been made of the connection and ability to coach up players.

I do suspect though, this is simply a vague link and unlikely to happen.

It's what quality we buy not how much we've paid for him that matters. Ask Liverpool fans if they think the c.£400m spent last season worked.

I'd rather sign a player for £10m if they turned out to be Messi than i would spend £25m on a player who turns out to be bang average.
