New Kits Unveiled Next Week
Wednesday, 24th Jun 2026 15:35

Town will launch their new home and away kits on Friday 3rd July at 3pm.

As in previous years, the Blues will unveil their home and away strips, the last under the contract with Umbro with the club understood to be moving to a new supplier ahead of 2027/28, believed to be Nike.

The Buttermarket shopping centre in town revealed the date and time on its social media with Town promoting the new kits with a reference to Dara O’Shea’s pre-derby victory rallying cry, when the skipper reminded his teammates they were representing “us and our people”.

A third strip will be launched into the season, as has been the case in other recent seasons.

I'm 53 years old and way to excited for someone of my age.

Lots of talk about Nike coming, personally I am a little disappointed we've extended the deal with Umbro by a year, Nike in the PL would have been so cool this coming season.

4 year deal 4 years ago and I was hoping this summer for a change.

Hey ho, i'll no doubt invest again

Expecting us and our people to be printed on the shirt somewhere. MA loves a slogan!

Always Adidas for me I’m afraid but it’s no big deal

Not particularly bothered tbh, as long as the right people are wearing them!

I heard a rumour that Adidas wanted to take over the club shop as part of any potential deal..

Personally, I prefer my Greene King from the Burley era. Can't afford to buy a new kit every season, although they have been known to appear as birthday presents in the past.

Apprehensive about the prices, I think we're looking at eighty to ninety quid for adult and fifty for child sizes if it's Nike or Adidas. Might mean I treat the girls and go without myself.

Bazza8564. We havent extended the deal with Umbro. This is just the last year of the contract. So the last year of decently priced kits I expect. Pretty sure Nike kits will be exorbitant.

I’m not saying I’m ITK, but something tells me the return of the white sleeve, made fashionable by Ian Marshall and Ray Crawford may be back
There … it’s out.

Blues1 respectfully no. We signed a 4 year deal in 2022 which expires 30/6 this year. Look at the gear O'neill was pictured wearing yesterday, no branding on any of it. If you recall we started with The Cobbold Stand shirt, then the white sleeves, then pinstripes and Halo last year. We've done 4.

If it's Umbro they've extended by one year, link below, but noone has said that, thats just conjecture

I suspect theres smoke and mirrors here, the fact that Umbro is being talked about may be a big deflection to make the Nike deal launch a bigger splash.

Either way, we will know soon enough

Sad to see the current home shirt go,personally I think it's the best we've had for many years.

Not sure why some are excited by the prospect of Nike kits next year. They will most likely cost around £15 more. The England shirts are a rip off!

Expensive hobby every year buying those kits. Glad I no longer care about the kits. It will be blue no doubt, that’s all I care about. I don’t know how families can afford to deck the kids out each year in the latest shirts. Bit like them all having iPhones and then saying they can’t afford to feed their kids so schools have to, even during the holidays. Still they can afford their mobile phone contracts.

Wasn’t really a fan of any of the kits last year tbh (the away one was god awful) I thought they looked a bit cheap though the home & 3rd kit did grow on me a bit but yeah hoping for better next year…

Not a fan of Umbro kits and hated the red away kit last season. Hoping for white away shirts, but I'd take black or orange as well over red.

No branding on the announcement posters would suggest there's a new supplier.
