Town Women Set For First Ever Overseas Training Camp

Town Women travel to Spain for their first ever overseas training camp on Monday.

The squad is spending the sixth week of pre-season in Seville, where they will also play a behind-closed-doors friendly. All the team’s friendlies have been behind closed doors this summer.

They return next Saturday with their opening WSL2 fixture at home to Nottingham Forest on Sunday 6th September.

As reported in June, Town Women are close to confirming significant outside investment.

Ah, the very last sentence answers a question I've been on the verge of asking for 3/4 weeks or so. It was supposed to be imminent almost 2 months ago. I guess it depends on what someone calls imminent. Seems things are becoming ever more professional on the Women's side of things, looking forward to the coming season, I think we can give it a right crack.

It's a long pre-season for the ladies.
If this is their 6th week back in training and the first game is not until Sept 6th that's a long old time!
