Town Ball 10 in Carabao Cup Draw

Town will be ball number 10 in this evening’s draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup.

The draw, which is regionalised on a north-south basis, takes place live on Sky Sports at 7.20pm ahead of the Plymouth Argyle-Exeter City first-round tie.

The Blues are one of 11 Premier League teams joining the competition at the second-round stage.

Town are guaranteed to go further in this year's competition than they did in 2025/26 when they were beaten on penalties at Bromley in round one.

Second round ties will be played in the week commencing August 24th.

ringwoodblue added 12:35 - Aug 10 Obviously a home draw would be nice. We have a 1:23 chance of drawing the Budgies or Foxes which would be amusing but I’d prefer a tie against Leyton Orient, Luton, Reading or Stevenage. Please not Posh or Cambridge or a PL team.
