Former Loanee Azon Joins Getafe

Former Blues loan striker Ivan Azon has joined La Liga Getafe on loan from Serie A side Como.

The 23-year-old spent last season at Portman Road, scoring five goals in 20 starts and 20 sub appearances.

Getafe were among the clubs interested in signing Azon last summer before his move to the Blues was confirmed.

Elsewhere, free agent former Town defender Axel Tuanzebe has joined Ligue 1 Auxerre on a one-year deal with an option for a further season having left Burnley at the end of last term.

The DR Congo international joined the Clarets after leaving the Blues a year ago.

Ex-Blues loan midfielder Jens Cajuste is close to joining La Liga Malaga on loan from Serie A Napoli.

A success story in La Liga are Getafe. What some like to call a " small club " done very well for themselves. Seen them play a few times. Not sure if he's still there, but a very "pugilistic " defender in their ranks who would fit nicely into the Paraguayan rearguard ( especially if he was Paraguayan! )

Best of luck Ivan, if non stop effort and 100% commitment starts delivering goals for them, they've got a good 'Un.
