Town Women’s striker Princess Ademiluyi was on target as England U20s thrashed Tanzania 5-1 in their second game at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Poland this evening.

Ademiluyi got the Young Lionesses up and running in the ninth minute before Aston Villa’s Rachel Maltby bagged a first-half hat-trick to make the scoreline 4-0 at half-time.

England added a fifth in the second half through Jessie Gale, who is on loan at Newcastle from Arsenal, after the Tanzanians had pulled one back.

Ademiluyi, 20, who is on loan with the Blues from Gotham FC for the year, was subbed in the 61st minute.

The Young Lionesses are second in their group ahead of their final game against Brazil on Friday.

The top two teams from each group progress to the last 16, along with the four best third-placed sides.
