Forward Mary McAteer has been named in the Wales squad for their Women’s World Cup qualifiers next month.

McAteer, 22, who joined Town on loan from Charlton on deadline day, has previously won nine caps, scoring once.

Wales face Albania in a two-legged play-off away on Friday 9th October and then in Llanelli on Tuesday 13th October.

The winners will face either Romania or Norway in another two-legged play-off in December with the victors qualifying for the World Cup finals in Brazil next summer.
