 Friday, 11th Jul 2003 10:08 Young central defender Gerard Nash will sign a three-year deal at Town today, his 17th birthday. Nash impressed on his reserves debut last season and Joe Royle is taking him on the pre-season trip to Sweden. Royle says the Irishman has come on a lot in the last few months: "Gerard has done exceptionally well after coming back from injury and he is highly rated by the academy staff."
