Town's match day programme has been named the best in Division One by Programme Monthly. It is the fourth award of this type that the club has won in the last five years.

The Town programme was placed ahead of West Brom and West Ham's publications, which finished second and third respectively.

Programme Monthly told the club site: "The First Division category was extremely difficult to judge because of the high standard of so many of the publications.

"But the attention to detail lavished on the Ipswich Town issue has set it above its contemporaries to give the publication another well-deserved honour."

The man behind Town's programmes is the club's publications manager Mike Noye. Understandably he was pleased to hear the news: "It's always great to have the programme recognised in this way.

"We have always strived to maintain a high level of editorial quality and the feedback we have received from the supporters about this season's programme has been very positive.

"I would like to thank our friends at Final Score, who provide the editorial and design, and printers Ancient House for their part in this success."
