The success of Town's youngsters this season has seen several Premiership clubs reported to be casting eyes in the direction of Portman Road. However, boss Joe Royle says he hopes to be able to keep them in his squad ahead of next season.

Royle told the club site: "I'm not surprised there has been speculation because they are all good players but there has been no contact from other clubs about our players.

"I can't do anything to stop the speculation, it's part of the game now, but I want to keep our young players at Portman Road anyway."
