Webster Leaves Town Tuesday, 29th Jun 2004 20:15 Town goalkeeper coach Malcolm Webster has joined this summer's Portman Road exodus to team-up with former boss George Burley at Derby County. Webster has been with the Blues for several years, joining the club full-time after promotion to the Premiership in 2000. In the short-term the former Arsenal, Cambridge, Fulham and Southend stopper's role will be filled by Andy Rhodes. Town manager Joe Royle told the club site that Webster's exit was not a surprise to him: "I knew that George was keen on Malcolm joining him at Derby and he's made him a good offer. "We wish Malcolm well and have taken Andy Rhodes on board to work with the keepers here. "It's a temporary move at the moment and no more than that. "Andy was with me at Oldham, and also played for Manchester City and Barnsley amongst other clubs."
