Town manager Joe Royle has confirmed that as expected Lewis Price will start in goal at Doncaster this evening. Price has made two previous senior appearances, at Gillingham in the league last season and in round one of this year's Carling Cup at home to Brentford.

Royle said: "It is important for Lewis's development that he gets games, so if anything did happen to Kelvin we would have a keeper ready to come in.

"Lewis has proved his is a capable keper and his next target should be to go on and challenge Kelvin for his first team place."

Town will also bring Dean Bowditch, Matt Richards and Tony Dinning into their starting line-up.

Royle has told Dinning that he wants to see more from him in the remaining weeks of his two-month loan from Wigan: "I had a word with Tony last week and said you are doing fine but we want better than fine.

"He did better than fine at West Ham and that was easily his best performance when he came on, so we will review Tony as he goes on.

"He is very talented and we haven't seen all that talent yet. It is still to come out but he has to express himself."

Dinning has said he wants to win a permanent deal at Portman Road.
