Town chairman David Sheepshanks has hinted that the Blues may make a new signing in the near future. Boss Joe Royle recently said he has been looking at bringing in a player on loan.

Sheepshanks, commenting again on yesterday's Football League report which showed that the Blues had paid £90,000 to agents in the second half of 2004, said: "Joe has made it clear he would ideally like to strengthen the team further and we have one or two feelers out, so we may be paying another agent's fee soon. We will see."
