Petta to Darlo Friday, 28th Jan 2005 15:08 Former Town midfielder Bobby Petta is in talks regarding a move to League Two side Darlington. Petta's contract with Celtic was cancelled by mutual consent in November. Since then the former Dutch U21 international has had trials with Bolton, Leeds and Wigan but with no success. Darlington boss David Hodgson says he will speak to Petta today: "Bobby has already shown plenty of interest in joining us and he will fly down to London to speak to us on Friday. "We are hopeful, but there is still a lot of work to be done." Already at Darlington is another former Blue, striker Alun Armstrong.
