Town have announced their first ever Legends Day when an old boys XI will take on a celebrity side representing Sky Sports One show Soccer AM. Simon Milton, John Wark, George Burley, Russell Osman, Neil Thompson, Mick Stockwell and Jason Dozzell are amongst those taking part.

Chris Kiwomya, Geraint Williams, Alex Mathie, Trevor Putney, Ian Atkins and Bontcho Guentchev will also be involved in the game, while less mobile legends Alan Brazil, Mick Mills, Bryan Hamilton, Roger Osborne and John Elsworthy are expected to attend in non-playing roles.

The game will be preceded by a family fun day where the legends will be signing autographs. The annual ex-players' dinner will take place in the Galleria in the evening.

The day, organised by Simon Milton and club archivist Pat Godbold, is set for Portman Road on Sunday, 1st May with a 12.30pm start, the match kicking-off at 3pm.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children and are available from the Ticket Office. The proceeds will go to the academy and Ipswich Town EAST.
