Permanent Deal for David? Thursday, 5th May 2005 18:01 On-loan defender David Unsworth says he would be interested in a permanent switch to Portman Road if one was offered in the summer. Unsworth completes this three-month loan spell after Sunday's final day showdown at Brighton and would not be available for the play-offs if Town finish third. The former Everton man told the club site that he wants to complete the job of returning the Blues to the Premiership on Sunday: "I have enjoyed it at Ipswich from day one. Now I hope I can go on and play my part in finishing off what I came here to do; helping the team win promotion. "After that, I'm not sure what will happen. It's an uneasy situation and like anyone I want to know what the future holds. "I've still got a year on my contract at Portsmouth and we will have to see what develops. "If a move to Ipswich was on offer then of course I would be interested, even if we don't go up. I wouldn't dismiss anything. "This time last year I didn't think I would be a Portsmouth player, so who knows what will happen. It will just be a case of waiting by the phone to see what develops - if anything does."
