Long-term Town fans might spot a familiar face if they tune into new BBC1 drama Sorted. Amongst the extras is 1960s Blues keeper Ken Hancock.

The 68-year-old former custodian has been a ‘background artist' for a number of years but Sorted is his most high profile role to date.

Ironically Hancock, who made 180 appearances for the Blues between 1964 and 1969, is cast as a member of the ‘Hancock Gang' in the series, appearing in a several of the episodes.

In addition to Hancock, who also had spells with Spurs and Port Vale, the series stars Hugo Speer, Neil Dudgeon, Dean Lennox Kelly, Cal Macaninch, Will Mellor and Mark Womack and is screened on Tuesdays at 9pm.
