timleatham added 22:26 - Jan 24 Ladapo and Chaplin quality finishing and what a first game from Clarke who definitely offered more with his all round play than Donacian. Thought Keogh also had a strong match with good distribution. My MOM was Freddy. Great goals and hold up play.

Bluesky added 22:43 - Jan 24 Sparkling first half. Clarke is Donacien with a firework up his backside. Keogh solid, Edmundson solid. Broadhead and Leif linking up well. Freddie worked hard and deserved his two well taken goals and Chaplin was sharp though still leaving passes short at times. Second half was disappointing for no more goals but we totally dominated and practised holding on to a lead. Morecombe were not outstanding anywhere but this win has done us the world of good.

Bert added 00:08 - Jan 25 Clarke, Chaplin and Ladapo all deserved MoTM with Broadhead almost matching them. A very fair referee in my opinion who communicated with the players and wasn’t picky.

Maltster added 09:41 - Jan 25 Happily we have sorted our left back probvlem. Harry Clarke seems to be worth his transfer fee. Freddy's second goal was almost the best of the season son far and Burns link up play with Chaplin was a joy to watch. I expect Morecombe came to 'park thier bus' and hope for at least a draw. Freddy's first goal stopped all of that! IF they can keep up this quality for the rest of the season there is hope for automatic promotion

Linkboy13 added 09:42 - Jan 25 Clarke looks genuine championship class and once Broadhead gets match fit is going to be very dangerous in league one. The crowd were very quiet at times Ladapo's second goal seemed to wake every body up. Chaplin is the most improved player at the club looks stronger and fitter to me and when he gets the ball you expect things to happen.

Robert_Garrett added 18:16 - Jan 27 Unbelieveable and amazing. No fog at this ground. Morecombe put up a game show and must be credited for that. Ref was above average , so was the EFL iFollow coverage for a change. Looking forward to our own TV show next season. Now for Burnley............
