Your Exeter City v Ipswich Town Match Reports

This match had the expectancy of a good battle. Ipswich controlled the game without allowing Exeter not to threaten allowing Walton to have an easy game. Ipswich scored twice against a weak Exeter defence. TV curse is now over. Ipswich are better than this display. But the sign of a good team is to collect three points without being special.

Really solid and professional performance. Dominated most of the game and allowed Exteer very few shots on goal. Burgess was immense and won most balls plus passed forward well.Morsey bossed it in midfield, and Ladapo and Harness were excellent up front and both took their goals well. Worrying injury for Davis is the only negative.

Two stars were our goal scorers but also thought Burgess was close

Make your own luck and take the best chances that come our way. MoM Burgess. It was anozther performance to take your breath away. Never a dull moment and the best team won. Very clinical effort withoiut the need for the spectacular. Roll on Buxton.

Another good away performance. We're playing the 'Ipswich way'. Nice football, defending from the front, plenty of movement., working hard. I've supported since the heady days of the 70's & this is the most optimistic for the future I've been since those Ist Division days.
