Always a tough game there.

Some strange officiating did not help. Kieron still has work to do on the grass.

Well done to the traveling support!

We stopped playing and tried to hang on. Wednesday knew they just had to get a few set-pieces to get back in it. When it was 0-2, I said it would end 2-2. It was so obvious what was going to happen. Bringing on Keogh and playing six at the back was never going to maintain the lead. The team need to keep playing one way; the way they start the match.
Donacien was outstanding as usual but there are players struggling for form. Wes Burns is a shadow of the player he was last season. Tyreece JJ is definitely not looking like a potential premiership player. Jackson is looking like our best striker - I never thought I would say that!
Harness could have done some damage if he was on from the start. But he is no good when we are hanging on, because he gives away free kicks around our area. As does Burns - which led to the equaliser. Poor ‘game management’ unfortunately.
There was some great passing and movement from us in the first half. We looked a league above them. So why not keep doing it?

And I think Leigh is a good attacking player but defensively he was poor today. Several times on the wrong side of attackers, getting beaten and giving away free kicks.

Two excellent goals to lead and two set plays to draw. Cant talk about misfortune as you make your own luck at this level. Cant complain about the spilt milk so roll on the next good performance and react to set plays a lot better? Kayden had an excellent day so we are very pleased for him. The midfield became a little bogged down in the second half as Bannan was at their throats. Trying to maintain the 2-0 over the 90 minutes just isnt our way of doing things. The moment we took the foot off the pedal Wednesday were at ourthrost and wanting blood.
