Cambridge came to frustrate and did so for 70 minutes. Then as per the last game The substitutions transformed the game with all three making big contributions however the stand out performer was Kyle Edwards who was tremendous every time he touched the ball and his first goal was a goal of the season. A very deserved win and we remain the heels of Plymouth. Keep it up boys. Loving it 😁

Spent 70 minutes knocking on the door without much coming back from Cambridge. Last season we might have struggled but not this season, Kieran pops on the super subs and we go up a gear. Great atmosphere tonight, good contributions all over the pitch and some cameo appearances from the subs, especially Kyle Edwards. Can't wait to watch his goals back, from the north stand they both looked like worldies! Another bogie off our backs and good competition for places all over the park. In Kieran we finally have a manager that we can compare to the Ipswich greats and a board of directors that appear to know a little bit about football! The futures bright, the futures blue and white! COYB!

We patiently waited and waited. Solid possession. Only chances for Cambridge when we were twice beaten by our own wet pitch but Davis and Burns respectively recovered quickly. Mackenna worked his magic with another pair of exocet substitutions and we were in. A privilege to have watched Kyle Edwards shot - it was most definitely a shot - from just behind him. Sweet. John-Jules lightening reflexes for his goal. If Cambridge had played all game the way they played in the dying minutes when they had nothing further to lose we may have been in trouble early on. But patience and tactics duly rewarded us. Marching on!

It's worth mentioning that the referee had a very good game - especially when compared with the dross that we have had to put up with most weeks
