Terrible ref. Should have won but didnt lose so not so bad. Well done to the boys for effort. Effort is all we can ask for. My dad used to always say to me did you give a 100 per cent in your own head and if you did there can be no regrets. Ive always tried to live this way. Well done to the 25000 today.

Absolutely dire ref, and because he got so many calls wrong, it only highlights our need for a striker that can take a half chance and bury it. However, on another day and we could have scored 4 or more.

Agreed with mick Mills
Did not play as well as recent weeks
Ref was awful from early on wanted to be the main attraction
Still believe 2 quality players required including a striker would have this regardless of today's result

We were robbed of 2 points by very bad refereeing decisions 90% of the time.

If you gave the ref more than 1 you need to take a long hard look at yourself

Refs decisions are part of the game you can't control and you just have to live with. 2 goals for would have been enough if we could defend set pieces. Only won 3 of the last 8 home league games. Not good enough.

As Bobby Robson once said the chemistry wasn't quite right today. The defence never looked happy especially with crosses into the box and maybe Burgess might have been a better selection for this particular game. Mobility up front was lacking and Lapado looked very leggy with balls played in front of him perhaps Jackson might have been a better selection. Having said all this we done enough to have won the game comfortably. But perhaps the team selection (chemistry)was not quite right.

No reason at all to disallow the penalty, but two excellent headers thats weren't covered by our defence. Woolfenden is just too causal for me, but Evans is becoming a delight to watch.

Trenendous inspiration from the singing on the terraces. Pity about the 3-1 not counting as it reminded me of Ray Crawford against Leeds scoring whilst on his butt! Bit subdued against aggressive Barnsley, it took to the middle of the second half to click on to their plaacting gamesmanship and by then it was too late.

They came for a point! Should have had Jackson on from start as Lapado wasn’t ever going to spring the offside trap.
We’ve got tougher games so need to get defence better organised. Would prefer Burgess at left centre with his height and left foot.

On another day walk away with win and everyone happy but that set piece and crosses is still a problem like last season. It was very evident at Burton but they missed the chances I would change solfenden as he does not win too many in the air playe edmundson there and Burgess left and work on set pieces as a team we don't mark players we'll enough as a team. Evans had excellent game but was not harried at all by Barnsley they left him alone must have thought he won't affect the game so put two on Morsy made Evans game easy today but he grasped the opportunity when harried though his game plummets. We have all said it for months and it is plain we need a striker if not we are going to struggle to win games like today and Bolton it was a priority and with 4 days to go we haven't done it IMO we would have maximum points if we had got a striker in
