Your MK Dons v Ipswich Town Match Reports

Not a great performance and a battling point. When Ward went off we seemed to lose our way and structure. Toto was definitely my man of the match. Won most of his tackles and headers. Midfield had a rare off day and I think Downes was about to impose himself on the game and get the team ticking, then got injured. Hawkins won every header just a shame nobody seemed to link up with him. Maybe an opportunity for Jackson? Good effort to come away with a draw having played the last 20 with ten men.

MK Dons had everything to lose but come out fighting and got a very creditable draw and could have snatched victory. Ipswich having topped the league were below par and were disorganised at times giving MK too many chances.

Town hit the rocks last season after key players got injured - it has just happened again. LB is very much a key position in our attacking options. Without it we are misfiring on all cylinders.

Very lucky to get a point. MK dominated the midfield but final passes were poor.
Couldn't understand why PL sent on 2 subs after Ward had been replaced. If we can't beat MK then it's going to be a long season again!

Odd tactics from MKD. Even when we went down to 10 men for the last half hpur, they left 3 back + a DM just marking Hawkins. Made it hard for them to put pressure on our defence.

A below performance today. Slow out of the blocks, but caught The Dons with a sucker punch. With Dozzell, our playmaker now tightly marked, we need more from Bishop, Sears, Nolan and Edwards to give Hawkins a sniff of a goal. Really impressed with Nsiala and Wilson at the heart of the defence, and Chambers put in a good shift. A really strange game by Holy, flapped, saved, but at his height should really control the box much more. A hard fought draw, by the 10 men left after the injuries to Ward and then Downes.
