3 points-thank goodness. Nolan clearly MOM but as most said in Chatroom, Downes and Lancaster made the difference today. need to have Downes starting so does it means Bishop left out? Is Lancaster fit enough to play 90 minutes? Beginning to feel as though we have some real choices. Very pleasing start to season

I'll say one thing:
It was completely entertaining in the second half and I was finding out how enjoyable it was to watch us for most of that half.

A delight to watch us play for long periods, especially after the substitutions. Downes needs to play regularly. He's class. With Vincent-Young, Woolfy, Skuse and Jackson to return and Norwood and Lancaster to be 100 % fit, this could be an enjoyable season.

What a difference the substitutions made, with Town dominating the second half to win this game. You can see a different style of play adopted this year, with Dozzell the playmaker and goals now coming from midfield, with a centre forward now linking up play, ie Drinan or Hawkins, with Nolan and Edwards now showing their class at this level. We must try to keep Downes, and tell him his worth to our club, with our wonderful youth players now coming through.
