harlingblue added 00:02 - Feb 14 The best Town performance of the season by a country mile. A goal down after only a couple of minutes, supporters feared the worst, but a gutsy all round team performance saw the Town grab a thoroughly deserved draw. Pennington and Knudsen were immense at the back (what a good pairing they looked) while fullbacks Kenlock and Bree had fine games. A young, energetic midfield three of Downes, Chalobah and Bishop, complimented each other well, with Chalobah outstanding. Judge, in his favoured No 10 position put in a wholehearted performance, while Keane and Quaner looked like they could forge a good partnership up front. Nolan came on as sub, and scored a delightful equaliser, we need to see a bit from him, but that goal should work well for his confidence. The change of system and style of game play really suited this (young team), no ponderous playing at snail pace at the back, with a keeper uncomfortable with this, but now with players putting themselves on the line throughout the team. Shooting practice is now the name of the game, time to make the opposing custodian to really earn his corn.
