A BlueLagos challenge, from the great man himself
by NewcyBlue at 08:41 11 Dec 2017

Posting on behalf of BlueLagos.

Reading Fergal's post about going to Middlesborough on a scoot, and the fact that people wanted it to be true, (I call custard on that one) and were happy to donate to a good cause if it was true, got me thinking.

So I've decided to commit to an attempt to do something similar, for a whole season. I have the time, I love biking and hate scooters, with a passion. Be clear, they are the lowest form of 2 wheeled transport and as such, it would be a serious undertaking if I were to do it. Uncomfortable, slow, everything a proper bike isn't.

So here's your opportunity Twtd. I would be willing to fund a scoot, and give it a go, if you lot raised some serious wedge. I'd fund the bike, petrol, would probably approach a garage for sponsorship / help on the servicing.

I'd also bottle out of trips like yesterday, as in I'd book a hotel and ride back the following day. (My night vision isn't up to safely making long night rides) I'd also insist on a 125cc rather than a 50cc.

I'd insist on the charity supported being FIND the Ipswich based food bank, I have done a small bit of volunteering with them and know they are a good cause / well run.

So before I start looking for a suitable bike, I'd want to know we can raise 5k minimum. It's a lot, and I'd probably rattle a bucket at away days too. But am not doing it for anything less....

Post your comittments below and if we get half way from these...I'll commit and start looking for a bike. If not, never mind.

All these new post-Brexit trade deals we're going to agree
by Steve_M at 08:21 11 Dec 2017

How are they going to work if the moment something is agreed half the cabinet decide to brief to the press saying nothing is agreed and we'll renege on the bits we don't like?

Do they not realise that the rest of the World can read English? It hardly represents the UK as the outward-facing trading nation that everyone will be desperate to sign deals with.

McCarthy: We Let Them Off the Hook and Didn’t Half Give Them Some Help
by Dissboyitfc at 08:00:23

We have a better strike force now than when we had Murphy, with Murphy we were a one trick pony just lumping forward. I am glad we didn't replace him as now we have options up front! MM needs to use them in an attacking team instead of setting up to stifle opponents.

I said this before, for me Knudsen was immense when he played in central defence and i would play him there along side Webster, Kenlock at left back, send Iorfa home play spence and get back Josh as cover. Then set out to go for teams from the off!

Really looking forward to a new manager, who is on the same page as the majority of fans!

Failing to replace Murphy and Berra, schoolboy errors. How did Marcus Evans make his money and how has MM been so successful making schoolboy errors?

What a total prat. It's always someone else's fault, generally the ref's. The bitter excuses of this charmless man.

Dukey... Berra was terrible?? I agree his form dropped after the playoff campaign but for me this was due to him aging and his continuous hip problem.. however he is streets above what we currently have! If you lose a player surely you have to try and replace him?? Sadly we haven’t!
