Accrington Chairman Shares Messages Exchanged With Burgess Ahead of Town Move

I don't agree. It's transparent, amusing and he has not let anyone down with his revelations. I think he's a refreshing change to most chairmen out there.

Skuse: Flattering to Get Messages
at 22:39:20

All we need now is a farewell interview from Chambo. I’m sure the club media lads have it in hand. The pair of them deserve their send-offs and there are many on here who should be ashamed of their comments. I join the others in wishing them well and I would not be surprised to see them return one day as a managerial double act.

Cook: Tranmere are One of 10 Teams I Support
at 10:59:39

Great comment re Clarke - and a great way of deflecting the fact that he could well be looking at someone who played last night with a view to a possible future move. However, instead of making a nasty 'mind your own business' comment as Lambert probably would have done, Cookie makes a joke and we all love him for it.

O'Neill: Owner Can't Be Here as Much But is Actively Involved in Everything
at 14:25:53

smellmycheese

Very much living off the history of the club and living off the legacy of incredible men like Sheepshanks and the Cobbolds and the way that they along with Bobby and Alf put this club firmly on the map.

Mentioning Sheepshanks in the same breath as the Cobbolds. Really?

McCarthy Set to Be Named Cardiff Boss
at 18:42:54

Let’s get it right Prebbs. He wasn’t telling me and thousands of other Town fans to do one; we appreciated what he did for the club on modest resources. His ire was directed at those whose disgusting chants at Brentford represented one of the lowest points in my many years of supporting the club. I am delighted that he is back in football and those Cardiff fans bemoaning his departure will not be long in changing their tune. Compare his record with that of Lambert and enlighten me as to how we are any better off for the change.

Lambert: The Two Incidents Were Absolutely Incredible
at 12:15:58

Ramblert may be right about the ref’s poor decisions but factor in the unfairness of Saturday’s result against Crewe and it’s what happens all too often in professional sport. Basically, it’s some you win, some you lose and we profited then lost in the space of two games. Time to move on and I’d prefer if it was with a new manager.
