RIP big man.

Very good blog.
Wanted him to be a hero so much, so feel a little deflated today, I dont suppose anyone will ever really know quite what has happened behind closed doors, your summing up of the situation though is not too far from the truth.

Town Amongst Several Sides Eyeing Keeper Say Swedish Club
at 18:25:50

I am certainly no expert when it comes to 'keepers, strange breed, but I like the look of his distribution, looks like he like to get the ball out and start a counter attack.
Good size, right age, you never know....This Suffolk Swede could be a "turnip" for the book!!!!

Sorry I'll get my hat

Sindre94, yet another thoughtful and well presented blog.
I find myself agreeing with you time and time again.
If only all of our fans were as passionate about the club as you are.

Scotland Back as Martin Drops Out
at 17:06:12

Surely the most ardent anti Jewell fans (Jas) etc, must see that the modern game is a squad game, and when the games come thick and fast the ability to be able to use the squad is a good thing.

Looks like Leadbitter will not be available next game, injured this game, so there will be another reshuffle on the horizon.

One more thisng........2 away wins in a week, i'll take that, draw away, win at home, always has workede always will....COYB

Keanish agree with second statement .....
Leadbitter poster, not my name btw, I am a "normal Town fan, who just happens to get very p****d off with all negative remarks, especially against players who we should be supporting.

I for one can't see what is wrong with shuffling your pack when there are so many games in March.

I also cannot see the point of Leadbitter, I agree with all of you Leadbitter haters, he is a waste of space...only 2 goals today!

Good shout Lightningboy, Monk is a class player.
But as you yourself have intimated, the odds of luring such a player is remote.

Much rather look at up and coming players from league 1, or even the SPL, I have a friend who is a Motherwell fan and he keeps telling me that Shaun Hutchinson is a prospect.

Pessimistic and Surco........

Good grief 2 people talking sense on 1 thread...never thought i'd see the day!

I have supported Town for more years than I care to think about, through thick and thin (mainly thin), its has been a rollecoaster of a ride, the key to it (imho) is to just enjoy the ride, be thankful to be a supporter of a respected and well liked club, and take whatever may come.
I am not happy with mediocrity, I am happy to be a Town supporter, and whatever happens I always will be.
In my book that means all pulling together in one direction, getting behind the team, the management and the club.

I hope that Jewell gets the mix right sooner rather than later, but in the meantime, I plan to enjoy (as best I can) the rollercoaster ride that is being a Town fan.

PS I will take a draw tomorrow at Leeds.

Merry Christmas to Phil and Gav, all my fellow Town supporters and to all those unfortunate enough not to support the mighty blues.
Heres to 3 points against Leicester, and many more points in the new year.

I agree Jewell your are lucky to have the support of true Today is my daughters 5th birthday, and she is bouncing off of the walls with excitement. It is a joy to watch her.
I refuse to be brought down by the inane ramblings of dreary, miserable drips like you Daleyitfc.
My advice try getting a life, cheer up ffs, and support this fantastic team of ours whatever may come.

I find myself looking forward to your blogs more than the game just recently!
Well I end up smiling more after your blog than after the results we've been getting recently.
Carry on the good work, and Ipswich, well, just carry on.

Jewell: Players Will Get Fitter

I've gotta feeling we're gonna sneak a win in the far eastern land of 'Am tomorrow.
We could blow the 'Ammers away, while they're busy blowing bubbles.

Jewell: Championship Tougher Than Ever
at 10:05:19

No doubt about it, the Championship is the toughest league to get out of.
I think we all would love instant promotion this season, but perhaps given one more season to consolidate and add to the team, would be better in the long run, its not just about winning promotion, its about staying in the Premie League.
2-1 win today, top half finish, more players added, and I will be a happy bunny this season.
Lets get behind the manager and boys today....( and the rest of the season). COYB!!!!!!

Strike Pair and Daggers Winger Linked
at 17:22:46

Have always rated Billy Sharp, would like him here.
Relatives in Scotland (Rangers fans), tell me Goodwillie is a pacy intelligent player, who they themselves would like to see at Ibrox, evidently has a slight temperement problem though.
Seen Daggers play quite a bit this year, and Green is fast and a proper winger, who just happened to score a cracker yesterday, but then got himself sent off after losing his head and diving in.
All in all, if this is the type of player we are being linked with, then i think thi sclose season will be an exciting one, and above all productive...heres to hoping we sign players like these, and dont just get linked.
