| News Comment | Celtic Linked With £500,000-Rated Crowe at 13:38:56
@Razor - very close! Caolan Lavery turned down a new contract with the Town and ended up joining Sheff Weds as you say, and since moved to Sheff Utd and spent last season on loan with Bury of LG2 where he scored 5 in 16 games, before being released this summer. Leant heavily on wikipedia for the lowdown, has to be said. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Nonsense That I Put Shackles on Players at 17:05:16
@bing109 - thanks for the link, fine write-up. Especially liked: "Much of the Ipswich training manual must consist of where to run to get a new tattoo judging by the decor on view." |

Superb work from Harry and Mullet with this series, bit of a dream team you are. Such well-written and researched articles. |

Here's to seeing Mr C on the pitch before the end of this season so we can see a photo of him looking a tad less disgruntled. Excited to see the lad play, so I am. |
| News Comment | Chaplow Signs on Loan at 18:31:20
Mr Chaplow was responsible for my favourite ITFC fan heckle, at last year's New Den encounter, of 'CUT YOUR HAIR, YOU BEATNIK!', as Mr C prepared to take a corner in front of the rabid Blue Army. Hat doffed to that fan, and to Mr Chaplin - welcome! |
| News Comment | Pablo Hits Back at Keane at 12:28:53
The Guardian have gone heavy on this story too, it's currently a lead story in their Sports section - http://gu.com/p/429py Bit cheeky of them not to have doffed their cap to TWTD or Blair though. outstanding statement from Pablo, needless to say, a righteous ripost to Mr Keane's savagery. |
| News Comment | Town Re-Sign Ambrose at 21:29:14
Both delighted and well chuffed about this, warranted a mighty 'gertcha! when I read this earlier on. C'mon Mick, Tommy Miller's still's playing... |
| News Comment | Town End Pre-Season Programme at Orient at 16:35:51
I was a Town-supportin' O's turnstyle operator 8 & 9 years ago when they were in League 2 and their standard ticket price at the time was £16. They could have done with a Mr Clegg turnstyle paint job, has to be said. |
| News Comment | Town Interview Shearer at 10:42:00
Can't say I'm overly enthused by the prospect of the dullest of all pundits, who has scant managerial experience taking over. I wouldn't be in favour of Andy Townsend being in the running either, even if he were to bring his Tactics Truck. |
| News Comment | Stoke Won't Stand in Higginbotham's Way at 13:12:58
He was immense last night, the backline looked pleasingly solid (the midfield esp Mr N'Daw played a part in that too), agree that a 2 year deal wouldn't go amiss. |
