Apparently Wilson was the sixth match day captain this season. Obviously others have been Chambers, Skuse and lathe Lincoln match was Huws. Who were the other two? |

Or having had two years of concessionary price then being told you had to pay full price for the next three years. That was when I gave up the ST I’d had for 15 years. Not a supporter or a fan, just a customer... Have to say I don’t miss going... |

We can almost play 'Snap'. My previous email concerned over 60s Concessions and I too had a reply from Edwina today: Dear Auntie Thank you for your email. We are one of the last clubs to switch from a concession age category of 60 to 65. The vast majority of Championship clubs now operate at the 65 threshold and unfortunately there was never going to be a good time to make that change. We understand your disappointment. It wasn’t a decision taken lightly but it’s one we felt we had to make to fall in line with society in general. However the increased cost will be subsidised by 50 per cent as you are aware. Thank you for your support. I've just replied to say I won't be renewing... Sad days for ITFC |
| Forum Thread | Even old Auntie has written a letter. Things must be bad... at 14:24 23 Mar 2017
Having read a number of your excellent emails/letters I felt I had to rouse from my slumbers and stop being one of the silent ones. So this morning I've written to the Club in the vain hope that if enough placid, easygoing ITFC fans protest they may, just may, reconsider this ridiculous pricing policy and the heavy handed way they've treated loyal fans. FAO Mr Ian Milne and Mr Marcus Evans Dear Sirs I am taking the unusual step of writing to you to make a heartfelt plea that you reconsider the decision to immediately increase the price of my Season Ticket. I have had an over 60 ticket for the last two seasons, having had a full price ticket for the previous 13 seasons. Along with that full ticket I also paid for my daughter's ticket for those 13 seasons - child, student and adult. When I was able to get a concession ticket aged sixty I was pleased that the club appeared to value older and loyal supporters. Over the last two seasons the entertainment provided on the pitch has been dire, and I have been considering whether to renew for next season. The only thing that was in the club's favour was the cost of the ticket and the sense that I was a valued supporter whose loyalty was not taken for granted. And now you want me to pay full price- an increase of almost £200.00. I feel you are slapping me in the face, all you want is my money. Please reconsider your decision and strategy regarding us over 60s. If you don't then there will be no doubt in my mind - I shall not renew. The club then loses the whole cost of my ticket - full or concession price. The feeling of ill will among my friends who are in the same position is caused by the knowledge that the Club has lost any sense of 'family' and does not value us long term valued supporters. If you have to increase the age limit to 65 then please don't insult those of us who have already been paying the concession price by pulling the rug from under our feet and insisting on making us pay full price - even with the 'carrot ' of the club funding some of the increase. The monetary increase is unfair and the moral principle quite frankly stinks. I look forward to hearing from you although I guess I will get the same 'copy and paste ' reply others have had. If the Club does not take seriously the thoughts of the silent majority it will find a sea of empty seats next season. Yours sincerely |

I have had a ST for 15 or 16 years, for all but two of these I've paid full price and bought another ticket for my daughter (Child/Student/Adult) Two years ago I qualified for a Senior ticket and my daughter didn't want to come. With the lack of entertainment over the last couple of seasons I've been debating whether or not to renew - this slap in the face by the club has made my mind up. They ask the fans to show loyalty - pity they can't see it should be a two way thing. Unless there's a 'U turn' I'll not renew. |

I think he's chosen the wrong group to stick two fingers up to. Surely it wouldn't have been difficult to keep current over 60 concessions and phase in the new system for those who reach 65 in coming years... Surely there cannot be that many of us in the 61-64 category.... I do not appreciate being taken for a fool. (easily done I know! ) |

As one of those I am cross. It is the money involved - over £160 increase next season (or £80 if I read the details correctly)- but more importantly it's the principle. It wouldn't have been difficult to keep existing Concessions as they are and make the new rules for those about to reach 60. I'm already looking forward to having my Saturdays back - plus not sitting out in the cold on a Tuesday evening. The last two seasons have been dire, and I was considering not renewing - this has made my mind up. The fans are just seen as cash cows - forget it Mr Evans... |

The club have managed to alienate the huge percentage of current ST holders Well done Entertainment value is nil. I'm 61 and now I have to pay more to watch this Forget it... Will the club respond to this disquiet??? |
| Forum Reply | Milne: We Must Bring Back Younger Fans at 08:01 17 Mar 2017
I've only had a ST for 15 years. The last two were at Senior rate. Now they want me to,pay full, price again?! The not reason I renewed last year was because the price was 'reasonable'. At least there will be space for a young supporter when I don't return for my 16th season. It's not just the price increase but the total disregard for those who have supported faithfully. It surely wouldn't have broken the bank to keep the rates the same for those who currently have a concession ticket... I've not enjoyed this season, and this moving of the goal posts may well be the straw that breaks this camel's back. Disgraceful... [Post edited 17 Mar 2017 8:22]

That's disappointing. They should have asked - what's the point of a promotion if the sales team can't or don't promote it. As a ST holder I've bought two extra tickets for the Wolves game for family. |
