Earl: There Are a Lot of Points Left to Play For

Keep paying the same this team with the same tactics and you'll end up 14th.

How about dropping Chambers, Skuse, Judge, Huws and Keane. Stick Sears up front. Start with Dozzell Misouni Morris etc. Go 442 and have a go at these lower league teams.

Lambert has used the ITFC time as an audition for a bigger job coping all the Prem league rubbish. Playing weaker sides, team rotation, ditching cup games , cancelling fixtures cos of int. games.
A real clown and a born loser. Out of his depth in league one.

Promotion is over. He's had over a year to start to make an improvement in the team and playing and he has failed miserablly.

SaCK THE OLD WIND BAG.

So our promotion hopes rests on a 4 goal a career "striker" and an injured player who can only manage 4 mins of a game.

Lambert Out.

Glad to know that Lambert and the team take the pre game talk seriously before an important game.

You wouldn't expect an under 8's team to be arguing over boot colours. Truly pathetic and throwing your boot about to make a point, no wonder he has been so poor all season.

I expect Lambo was worried about his adidas contract and bonus.
Is that why he goes to bed in his little blue and white adidas tracksuit?

Lambert: The Best Performance Since I've Been at Town
at 18:54:55

What are you talking about you ego-centric old windbag?

You have achieved absolutely nothing since you arrived. The team hasn't improved, the players haven't improved and the results haven't improved.

One game and your are the messiah. Please remember no-one in the Premier league (England or Scotland), the Championship or overseas clubs would touch you after 4 sackings.

You're failing at a League One club and all you can do to cover your inadequacies is have a go at the 20,000 fans who help pay your over inflated and unearned wages.

Disgraceful.

Ipswich Town 4-1 Burton Albion - Match Report
at 17:28:48

What's the point if we don't fly up the table? Happy in 7th?

I find it really strange that some people come on after a win against an average Burton team and believe that promotion is possible for an out of form team that has only won 4 in 20 and hasn't beaten anyone in the top 6. I hope they do.

No problem in praising the team and celebrating. But promotion?
You've seen this team this season and we are not one of the best teams in this league. The only way we're going up is through luck.

I think the sight of Butcher at ITFC has had more to do with focusing the mind of an otherwise unimpressive Lambert.

Wonderful. We beat Burton Albion.

But how do we get promoted? We can't beat anyone in the top 6.

For automatic promotion you're betting on the current top 2 giving up 5-8 pts in the next 12 games.
And more importantly us winning almost all our remaining games. You've all seen this team this year. How many games have they not turned up for?

OK we manage to get into the play-offs? What then, our strikers haven't even scored a goal against the the top 6. How do you win the play-offs is it down to Garbutt and Judge to score the goals?

However, at the end of the season you'll all be able to reflect on that win at home against Burton while looking ahead at another season in League One without Downes and with Skuse and his new contract.

Happy Clapping.

So glad for the happy clappers on here but we're still &th outside the playoffs. With teams with games in hand (lets ignore that

Even if we manage by some flook of the fixture list we manage a play off place, how do we get promoted when we can't beat any of the top six teams?
Especially as we have got in the habit of giving the opposition a goal lead from sloppy starts to games.
Take a taste of reality, with ITFC at 9/2 and the top two with odd less than even.

Lambert Still Targeting Top Two

It may be mathematically possible but 25/1 shows the real situation.

Why all this talk of home games? We haven't been bothered about p*ssing away points at PR so far this season.
