For what it's worth, it would be illegal for Messi to do that. Spanish law says you CANNOT sign a new contract for less than 50% of the value of his last contract. The greatest player of all time, with no hesitation, accepted a 50% pay cut, the most he could by law, to stay at what he considers home. If Barcelona wanted him they could have signed a new deal while he was still their player and spent all summer selling players to get under the wage cap. However, once he became a free agent they couldn't re-register him until they were already under the wage cap, which they couldn't manage. They would have known this for at least a week or two and yet still let Messi believe a matter of days ago that he was flying home to sign his contract. He has been lied to and then found out he has to leave his home or retire in a matter of hours, that is enough to make anyone emotional. |
| Forum Thread | FOR SALE: Mick Mills & Roger Osbourne SIGNED at 12:34 16 Sep 2020
Afternoon all, I was recently spoiled for my birthday with some ITFC memrobilia but unfortunately I received the same piece twice! Mick Mills and Roger Osbourne holding the FA Cup, signed by both and with Certificate of Authenticity. Website says this was purchased for £49.99 but I’m just looking to get it to a good home where it will be appreciated before I list it on eBay and the like. Looking for £30-35 for collection or £35-40 for posted. Anyone interested then do let me know. Will try and link pics below. |

Hi All, thanks for your help and guidance :) I believe I have it all set up. Here is the ball and signatures. I’m fairly sure 15 is good old Bam Bam and a couple of the images may be 2 signatures such as image 8 but any others you could help with as well as the season of the ball would be amazing. Thanks! |

Morning all, recently inherited a signed Ipswich Football from the 90’s from a family member. I started following town when I was 7 in 1999 so am really struggling to identify who has signed this ball. Was wondering if you could all help me? There are 15 signatures and I have labelled each image so if you could throw out the name and number for me that would be amazing. ****I havent been able to get images to load in the forum, could someone advise which online storage they use that lets them share images here in the forum? Cheers!**** |

Hey Northstander_Blue, Does Gold allow me to buy more than one away ticket during the early window? Always thought it only let me buy one and my mate was never gonna cough up for a silver card or season ticket. |

Hi All, was waiting til general release to get a couple of Burton tickets as my mate isn't a season-ticket holder and now got my fingers burnt by our brilliant away support selling out the terrace. If anyone has two adult tickets going at any point between now and then, do drop me a PM and we'll happily pay face value. Cheers! |
| Forum Reply | Norwich sell out? at 12:47 10 Aug 2018
I’m an optomist but the problem is without a ridiculously big game i.e. Arsenal league cup semi-final, we simply won’t sell out any more. We failed to sell out the Play-Off Semi-final against the scum (circa 28k) and I think the derby last year was as low as 23-25k. Even the game last week where we were supposed to see all the fans who said they wouldn’t come back until Mick left, only managed to drag in around 18k. Sadly we can’t sell out and won’t get close until we are either in the Premier League or consistenty top part of the Championship ala 2004/05. We’ll be lucky to get 26/27k against Norwich although the games we have building up to it could have a big impact in the belief for better or worse. |

Is it just me or is there a number of Wednesday night games this year? This a new thing for the football league or just games likely to get moved to Tuesdays? |

Explains why going for two strikers, one tall strong player to replace Murphy and another of any sort to replace Varney. |
