Town Players Have Not Turned Down Wage Deferral
at 07:37:04

Would’ve loved the wage deferral option instead of the 40% wage cut force upon me. Although singled out for criticism unfairly when there are loads of businesses using the furlough scheme to protect profits not jobs, it is hard to feel sympathy for any footballer when the best they can agree to (or not in this case!) is to get a slight deferral on some wages. Meaning in a year or so time they won’t be out of pocket even a penny!

My Best Town XI: Bobby Petta
at 07:34:54

My favourite town player. Controversial I know but he was so exciting to watching and it’s the memory of watching him that remains most prominent. You just knew an opposition defender was likely to see red as at his peak this guy was unplayable!!

Evans Writes to Fans as 2020/21 Season Tickets Go on Sale to Existing Holders
at 16:09:56

Until a vaccine is found it is likely many people will need to stay in quarantine. Those who are classed in the extremely vulnerable group. I wonder if those season ticket holders renewed if the club would stream the home games on-line, even if they were to go ahead at Portman Rd? That way those people don’t lose their seat and can still follow the team? Might be good for the club to investigate given there are a number of vulnerable/70+ yrs old who make up the attendance.

Businesses that are able to have been encouraged by Rishi Sunak to top up wages. It’s legal and morally right.

jas0999. One valid question. How much will he be sold for?

The other question probably doesn’t need asking. I’m imagining the answer to be 0%-5% of it. Mainly on wages or loan fee...

Feel bad for Tyreece Simpson and Brett McGavin for their respective achievements tonight. Going totally under the radar. Good luck to them both with the club. They could be our future.

Sindre94. I understand where you are coming from. But for me, in January our Manager and owner knew our top scorer was struggling with injury and was going to need an operation. But did we invest in anyway to cover or negate that? No. Of course we didn’t and now we are at the bare bones. If we had a player who could convert chances and add goals to the games we have been more dominate in then we may have won a few. But you are right, fine margins in those games are costing us. But as per normal no investment is costing us.

Next match will be interesting. Battle of the midfielder maestro managers. One who played in the Champions League for big big clubs and one who was a foul mouthed, petulant bully boy. If Lambert gets out managed again.... 👋 👋

Second Op For Norwood But Back Before the End of the Season
at 09:55:10

I raised my concerns over Norwood after last week’s game when he didn’t play. Delighted it’s not an attitude issue but it’s concerning this has been allowed to continue and we still didn’t get any striker cover/options in during Jan.

Lambert: The Best Performance Since I've Been at Town
at 18:46:35

Can we find out if Norwood’s attitude is right? Odd for him not to come on when we are 4-1 up as it’s a chance for him to get a goal and therefore confidence. He barely warmed up before the game.

Something is definitely going on with Norwood. Barely tried to warm up at the start and same at half time. Didn’t come on and that coupled with Lambert’s comments during the week about having a chat with him make me wonder if his attitude is an issue currently. Hope not as despite missing a few he is a threat going forward and you need a player like him to upset the opposition now and then.

That aside a much improved performance and a much needed win. Need to keep doing that to the better teams too. COYBs.

Norwood on the Bench as Blues Face Tranmere

Def right to play Keane as his aerial presence will help on this pitch. If Jackson had a knock previously then I think Norwood should’ve started ahead of him given the chances of a reoccurrence of the injury to Jackson.

Nsiala Completes Bolton Move
at 21:21:21

This moves raises major alarm bells about Paul Lambert and his team selection and decision making. It’s really concerning for me that Nsiala has been in the team recently but in a heartbeat is deemed fit to release. I get he is devoid of confidence etc but he should not have been in the team if that was the case! Best of luck Toto

Blues and Swindon Linked with Halifax Striker
at 19:56:22

Arnie. Vardy was 25 when he made his football league debut.

I realise the chances of him being the next Jamie Vardy are slim but it also doesn’t mean he is crap. Plenty of our players leave on a free and go on to do well.
