Amazed to see 2 of top 3 are from that lot. Assuming they both get sold that's half of their goals gone which would be brilliant. No real stand out strikers this season, hopefully Hirst and Szmodics can rip it up next year. |

Just when you think that's it season is done up pop Fulham reserves.
This season has been very cruel, how many early games we thought we were going to win and didn't, the VAR decisions and so on.
It's the hope this year that has killed me which is why I choose not to embrace it, yet come 730 tonight I will be there cheering the boys on.
No doubt we will have a period (we usually do) where you think yes we are going to win this today only for it to be snatched away.
I predict a Delap early goal and late collapse but obviously hope that's not the case.
This is another game like Spurs where normally you wouldn't give us a chance but due to off field events it gives you that hope.
Like 2024 we are now the only team in the league this year not to have won a game, a win would be nice!

Yet watching their defence support the right back to contain Davis was Champions League compared to watching Conference South Godfrey albeit he was left exposed.
McKenna has been brilliant but I don't understand how such an educated and knowledgeable man cannot see how vulnerable our right back is match after match. Maybe because of where I sit I get a great view of this so perhaps I am missing something?
I said to a Spurs friend before KO whoever plays left wing will win it for you and surprise, surprise 2 assists from Son down that side.
For me McKenna has a big job on his hands next season as he needs to sort this and find a midfield that actually functions as well as replacing the inevitable loss of Delap and possibly Hutchinson.
He's earnt the right to do this don't get me wrong but also keeping Broadhead/Philogene/Clarke, Walton/Muric/Slicker/Palmer etc happy won't be easy either.
Please someone educate me to as why I am wrong with sensible debate rather than the inevitable downvote or support the team type post. |
