| News Comment | Premier League Clubs Eyeing Davis at 11:10:48
Crucial that we achieve promotion this season, you can't assume that next season we will be stronger. Our squad could be picked over and even McKenna move on to bigger things. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Another Game We Feel We've Done Enough to Win at 00:02:46
Wooly74, not plastic fans at all. Forget this we were League One last season, no right to be promoted, Southampton and our Norfolk rivals both got back to back promotions. Stats being trotted out before Xmas suggested 90% + teams in our position went up automatically. |
| News Comment | McKenna: We'll Learn From Defeat and Quickly Move On at 17:32:44
Sad to say but Leeds had too much for us all over the pitch. There pace and decision making made the most of every opportunity. Maybe we see the difference between Premier League quality and where we are at today? Not knocking us, it's a great season but today has been an eye opener. |
| News Comment | Pert No Fan of 13-Minute Injury Time at 12:28:33
I'm sure that the added time will gradually decline, probably because it will sink into players that it will all get added on. Lets face it, the modern term 'game management' incorporates a big element of time wasting in disrupting momentum - we were on the wrong end of it plenty of times last season. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Lincoln Are a Stubborn Opponent at 13:27:35
Agree with blueboy1981, the time for excuses is over. A horrible feeling that all our dropped points in injury time are going to put us through the lottery of the play-offs. |
| News Comment | Plymouth Argyle 2-1 Ipswich Town - Highlights at 15:25:50
Can't believe some of the comments about the referee. Morsy should have had a straight red in the first half and it isn't a foul on Chaplin for the equaliser. Chaplin paid no attention to the ball, eyes on the Argyle player trying to win a free kick. The ref read exactly what he was doing.. |
| Blog Comment | The Cashless Debate at 08:36:31
Some of the arguments for people who can't go cashless don't make sense. For certain disabilities card use is easier than cash. For the less wealthy in society who don't have bank accounts were most likely priced out of attending matches years ago. |
| News Comment | Cook: The Reality is We Need a Little Bit of Time to Gel at 08:31:56
Lots of talk about players with good credentials, talent, potential. We get beat week in week out by teams who just have more desire. Simply not good enough. If they don't have the heart or fight in this league not a chance of us getting out of it. |
| News Comment | Cook: The Reality is We Need a Little Bit of Time to Gel at 08:28:27
Morecambe, Burton Albion & now Cheltenham Town - seen my local non-league side Boston United beat them all. Never thought there would be a day when Ipswich played them in the league, never mind be unable to beat them. Living in a constant football nightmare - someone please make it stop. |

Good piece, and a very fair summing up regarding the youngsters coming through. It must be so difficult for them coming through at the moment in a more physical league and with the number of inexperienced players around them. Sadly, for me, the balance of the squad is all wrong, not many players in their prime but a few nearing the end of their careers and a few starting out trying to make their way. Difficult times. |
| News Comment | Finidi: Ipswich Spell Unfortunate at 12:27:14
tractorboybig..... did you ever see AdrIan Paz, or most of John Duncans team? Finidi on his day was a great player, injuries and circumstances just went against him and us. |
| News Comment | Lambert: Everybody at the Club is Suffering at 01:12:12
Regardless of the Evans debate, where would we be without him, underfunding etc. The buck stops with the manager, we are still better funded than at least half of those above us. Team selection, rotation, choosing not to play due to international call ups when we were on a roll. All Lamberts doing. Get Warnock in, he makes teams better than the sum of their parts. |
| News Comment | Warnock Blues Link Revived at 14:58:44
Dukey44.... Mick McCarthy wasn't taking us anywhere? Correct - which means we would still be a Championship side. Warnock would be a breath of fresh air in this shambles. Honestly believe relegation is more likely than promotion under Lambert. |
| News Comment | Wark: Just Like One of Mine! at 11:32:08
Greatest Town player I've been lucky enough to see. Even once the legs had slowed his reading of the game was immaculate. A proper Legend. |
